Port Angeles, WA: Slideshow & Adventure Writing Workshop
I’m so excited to share this news! In January 2017, I’ll be visiting Port Angeles, Washington for two extra-special events.
Friday, January 6th (7-8:30pm): I’ll be giving a slideshow about my recent adventures at Barhop Brewing & Pizza. Suggested donation: $5.
Saturday, January 7th (10am-4pm): I’ll be collaborating with the Outdoor Women’s Alliance to lead anadventure writing workshop at Feiro Marine Life Center. Here’s the course description:
It doesn’t matter whether you’re an experienced author, part-time blogger, or a curious novice — this workshop is designed to help you realize your potential as a writer. Whatever your experience level might be, I want to hear about your goals, help you hone your skills, and ask the hard questions that will help you move your writing forward.
We’ll enjoy an online meet-and-greet in the week leading up to the course, in which the class will introduce themselves and do a little online teambuilding. I’ll assign background reading, and every student will do a suggested writing assignment to warm up and get the creative juices flowing.
On January 7th, we’ll meet for an intense and rewarding six hours at the Feiro Marine Life Center in Port Angeles, Washington.
