Summer Writing Webinar Series

This spring I taught several one-night adventure/travel writing workshops in Seattle, Lake Tahoe, San Diego, Los Angeles and Bend. At each event I had the absolute pleasure of connecting with new writers, sharing my sources of inspiration, and (hopefully!) helping each student take one step closer to sharing their own tales of adventure.

After the workshops, I received dozens of emails from students, all asking the same question: What’s next? How can we continue to refine and develop our skills?

So, after lots of thought, I’m excited to announce a new project: my six-part summer writing webinar series. Each webinar will run 7:00-8:30pm, and they’re each designed to focus on a specific topic.

Each of these online webinars will be limited to 20 people, which will create an intimate, small-group feeling. You can sign up for one, a handful, or all of them. We’ll video chat for the whole time, so you can ask questions, share ideas with the rest of the group, and interact with me and your fellow writers.

Registration is through Eventbrite. Each of these events will be held on Zoom, a handy-dandy video conferencing site. As always, you’re more than welcome to email me with questions before, during, and after the event.
